Organisations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to quality in the production of goods and delivery of services have been recognised at the Kenya Quality Awards 2026.
The awards brought together businesses and institutions of different sizes, from micro enterprises to large corporations, in recognition of their efforts to uphold quality standards and improve their operations.
The annual awards recognised excellence in several categories, including Product of the Year, Service Organisation of the Year in both the private and public sectors, and the Overall Company of the Year.

Runners-up in the various categories were also recognised for demonstrating strong commitment to quality and contributing to improved standards within their respective sectors.
The awards seek to encourage organisations to make quality a central part of their operations while promoting innovation, efficiency and better products and services for consumers.
The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) said the recognition forms part of efforts to promote a culture of quality among Kenyan organisations and strengthen the competitiveness of local products and services.
KEBS noted that adherence to quality standards is important in enabling Kenyan businesses to compete effectively in the domestic market and expand their presence in international markets.
The recognition of enterprises across different categories also highlighted the importance of quality standards across businesses of varying sizes and sectors.
Organisations were encouraged to continue investing in systems and processes that improve the quality of their products and services while meeting the required standards.
The awards also provide an opportunity for businesses to benchmark their performance against quality standards and identify areas for continuous improvement.
KEBS reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the adoption of quality standards as part of efforts to strengthen Kenya’s manufacturing and services sectors.
The agency said a stronger culture of quality would help build consumer confidence, support local industry and enhance the competitiveness of Kenyan products and services.
The Kenya Quality Awards 2026 therefore provided a platform to celebrate organisations leading in quality while encouraging businesses across the country to make continuous improvement a priority.
