Juja Member of Parliament (MP), who was allegedly abducted yesterday, Sunday, 26th May, has been found alive, dumped at a coffee plantation in Kiambu county.

His family has confirmed that he is currently receiving treatment at Plainsview Hospital in Ruiru town.

Koimburi was reportedly abducted by unknown individuals outside Full Gospel Church in Mugutha, Kiambu County, shortly after attending a church service. His wife, Anne Koimburu, was also injured in the scuffle while trying to intervene.

She said that the unknown men who had disguised themselves as worshippers accosted her husband and forced him to get into a white Subaru Forester with a civilian number plate.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has denied being involved in the abduction, even though they confirmed that Koimburu had been sought in connection with the alleged land fraud and misuse of Constituency Development Funds (CDF).
