Police in Narok County are holding five suspects who are suspected of having been involved in the recent murder cases around Njoro in March 2025.
While being arrested, the police recovered a Ceska pistol loaded with 15 rounds of ammunition during the operation.
Police said they are investigating to establish if the weapon has been used in more crimes in the country. The group was later picked up by officers from Njoro following their arrest on Thursday evening.
One of the suspects, identified as Josphat Mpoe, is a licensed firearm holder, police reported.
The suspects were arrested in a coordinated operation following a tip-off from the public reports linking them to a violent incident that claimed a life earlier this month. The police said that the suspects were found hiding in a rented house within the Narok town suburbs.
